Back to the previous question
Where do you want revenue in twelve months?
And roughly where is it now?
A ballpark is fine.
Where should we send our answer?
The number is optional. If you leave one, our team calls to set a time instead of trading emails. It is not used for anything else.
When should we call?

A named team

One roof
Bookkeeping, payroll, tax and CFO work handled by the same team, in the same file
If any of these sound like you

These are the questions we answer

01
Where is my money actually going?
02
Can I afford to make another hire?
03
Why does revenue grow but profit feels tight?
04
Why does tax season feel like a surprise every year?
05
How much can I safely pay myself?
06
Could my business run without me?
One team, three tiers

Most founders are not sure which of these they need

So here is the plain version. On the call we tell you which tier you are actually on, and we will say so if it is the cheapest one.

01
Bookkeeping

Every account reconciled, statements on a fixed date, and someone who explains what the numbers mean.

You probably need this if the books are behind, or you find out how the month went in the following month.
02
Controllership

Margin by client, by service line, by month, and a rolling forecast you can plan against.

You probably need this if you have books but nobody is reading them.
03
Fractional CFO

Someone to run the numbers with you before you commit, not after.

You probably need this if you are weighing a hire, a lease, a loan or a big contract and cannot model it.
Not sure which tier you are on?

That is what the call is for. Tell us what you are working on and we will point you in the right direction. No sell.

What actually lands, and when

No adjectives. This is the list.

Every month
  • Bank and card accounts reconciled
  • Payables and receivables current
  • Payroll journal entries posted
  • Month-end close
  • Statements on a fixed date, not whenever they happen to be ready
  • A short written note on anything that moved and why
Every quarter
  • Your financial scorecard, walked through with the person who does your work
  • Margin broken out the way your business actually earns
  • A rolling cash view so you are not guessing at next quarter
  • Anything coming up that you should decide on now rather than later

Neither speaks founder. Neither speaks builder. Neither speaks you.

There are old-school accountants who speak boomer-business. There are accountants fresh out of school who speak only compliance. We built the firm we wish existed when we started.

The people who will be on your account

Most firms in this category say the words dedicated team and stop there. Here are the names, and you will meet them.

Anthony Chiaravalloti
Anthony Chiaravalloti
Managing Partner

Sets the direction on every engagement and stays close to the accounts where the decisions are biggest.

Taranpreet Singh
Taranpreet Singh
Senior Finance Manager

Runs the numbers on your account month to month and is the person you talk to on your quarterly review.

Ashley Vernuccio
Ashley Vernuccio
Senior Bookkeeper

Does the monthly close on your file, so the same person sees your books every month rather than whoever is free.

Whether this is a fit

Both lists are honest. The second one matters as much as the first.

Who this is for
  • Founders doing roughly $1M to $15M
  • Clinics, agencies, professional services, trades and ecommerce
  • Owners who want the numbers explained, not just filed
  • Businesses whose books are behind and who would rather say so than hide it
Who it is not for
  • Pre-revenue businesses. There is not enough happening yet to justify this
  • Anyone who needs an audit opinion
  • Owners shopping purely on the lowest monthly price. We will lose that comparison and we know it

If you are not a fit we will tell you on the call rather than after you have signed something.

The questions people ask before they book

Answered here so you do not have to sit through a call to find out.

What does this cost?

A fixed monthly fee, quoted once we have seen your volume. Three things move it: how many transactions run through the business, how many entities you have, and how often you run payroll. You get the number on the call, and it does not move month to month unless the work does.

What is included, and what is not?

Included: the monthly and quarterly list above, and your software licence. Not included and quoted separately: catching up books that are behind, and one-off project work like a lender package or a system migration. We tell you which of those you need before you sign anything.

Can I cancel?

Notice period to confirm with Anthony. Your books stay in your own QuickBooks or Xero file, under your ownership, and you keep admin access the whole time. Nothing is held hostage.

I already have a bookkeeper. Why would I need this?

Often you do not, and we will say so. A bookkeeper records what already happened. What most owners at your size are missing is someone reading it and telling them what it means for the next decision. If your bookkeeper is good, we can work alongside them and take on the review and reporting layer instead of replacing anyone.

I already have an accountant who does my year end. How is this different?

Year end looks backwards, once. This looks forwards, monthly. Your year-end accountant tells you what happened after you can no longer do anything about it. We are trying to get you the same information while there is still a decision in front of you. Plenty of our clients keep their year-end relationship.

Do I really need a CFO? I thought that was for bigger companies.

Most businesses under a few million do not need one, and we will not sell you one. What they usually need is a clean monthly close and one good conversation a quarter. If that is you, that is what we will recommend.

My books are twelve months behind. Is it too late?

No, and you are not unusual. Nearly every business that comes to us starts with books that need work. We go back as far as it takes, quote the catch-up separately so it is not buried, and there is no lecture about it.

Can you work with the QuickBooks or Xero file I already have?

Yes, and we would rather. It stays your file in your account. If you are on something else, tell us on the call and we will say honestly whether we can work in it or whether moving is the better idea.

How long does it take to get started?

We run a 90-day strategic process. Days 1 to 60 are the financial assessment. Days 60 to 90 are strategy implementation. From day 90 onward it is ongoing partnership and stewardship through each chapter of the business.

How often will I actually speak to a person, and who?

A review call every quarter with the person who does your work, not an account manager relaying messages. Between calls you message the team directly. Response commitment to confirm with Anthony.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You keep your QuickBooks. The file is yours and in your name the whole time, so leaving is a matter of removing our access. No lock-in and no black box. We will also hand over a clean closing position rather than walking away mid-month.

Are you a CPA firm?

No, and we will not imply otherwise. We handle bookkeeping, payroll, tax filing and CFO work. Where something needs a licensed opinion we tell you and work alongside a CPA rather than pretending we can sign it. If you need an audit, we are not the right firm and we will say so on the call.

Tell us what is going on with your numbers

Five questions, about two minutes. If we are not the right fit we will say so on the call.
